🎨 ChatGPT Images 2.0 Just Dropped
OpenAI launched ChatGPT Images 2.0 this week. The biggest deal: it can finally render text that actually looks correct. Menus, signs, labels, infographics. No more "burrto" and "margartas." It also renders non-Latin text like Japanese, Korean, Hindi, and Bengali without mangling it.
The model has two modes. Standard is available to everyone including free users. Thinking mode is for paid subscribers and lets it search the web, generate up to 8 images from a single prompt, and double-check its output before delivering. It already hit #1 on the Image Arena leaderboard by a 242-point margin. That's the largest lead ever recorded.
Bond Wants to Replace Your Doomscrolling With AI
A new social media app called Bond launched this week. The idea: you post "memories" (photos, videos, audio) about what you've been doing, and an AI system learns your interests and recommends real-world things to go do. Like if you post a lot about pho, it might suggest a new Vietnamese restaurant nearby. If you're into metal, it'll flag that Iron Maiden is coming to your city.
No infinite scroll. No ad-optimized feed. The more you post, the better the recommendations get. It's basically the anti-TikTok. Whether it actually works or becomes another app graveyard remains to be seen, but the concept is interesting for creators thinking about where social is headed.

Open ChatGPT on desktop or mobile. Images 2.0 is live for all users. Scroll down and choose an idea template like Fantasy Newspaper.
Attach a image of something you want to turn into a newspaper. In this example I uploaded an image of Jeff Bezos. The prompt is written already for us based on the template that was chosen.
The fantasy newspaper of Jeff Bezos was generated in less than 15 seconds. It comes with complete grammar, tone, and no spelling errors.
Takeaway: This is the first AI image model where text rendering actually works. If you've been doing mockups, menus, thumbnails, or social graphics by hand, try generating them here first. It won't replace Photoshop for everything, but for quick assets it's a serious time saver.
