Good morning. Google started rolling out Gemini 4, an AI "comedian" named is going viral on Instagram by stealing real comedians' jokes, and people are not happy. And ElevenLabs dropped Studio 4.0, an AI editor that generates and cuts your whole video in one place. Would you call out an AI account for ripping off your work, or keep your head down? Hit reply and let me know! Let's get into it.

🤖 Google's Gemini 4 Is Here, But Not For You Yet

Google finally started rolling out Gemini 4, its long-awaited flagship model, but there's a big asterisk. The first version, Gemini 4 Argon, went to cybersecurity teams and the US government first, not the public. There's no app access, no API, and no pricing for regular users yet.

Google's been playing catch-up to OpenAI and Anthropic all year, and the plan is a staged rollout, ship an early version to a narrow group, then open it up more broadly over the following weeks. The wider release is expected sometime this month, but Google hasn't given an actual date.

For creators, there's nothing to do just yet with this model, you can't use it yet, and when you can, Gemini 4 is a frontier reasoning and creative model, the full version will eventually power Google's image and video stuff too. You can see it as "coming soon" and a sign that the next big wave of Google creative tools isn't far behind.

How Jennifer Aniston’s LolaVie brand grew sales 40% with CTV ads

The DTC beauty category is crowded. To break through, Jennifer Aniston’s brand LolaVie, worked with Roku Ads Manager to easily set up, test, and optimize CTV ad creatives. The campaign helped drive a big lift in sales and customer growth, helping LolaVie break through in the crowded beauty category.

ElevenLabs Built An Editor That Makes The Whole Video

ElevenLabs rolled out Studio 4.0, an AI-native video editor inside its ElevenCreative platform, and the pitch is that it handles the entire video in one place. Normally you generate footage in one tool, voiceover in another, music somewhere else, then edit it all together in a fourth. Studio 4.0 folds all of that into a single timeline.

You describe a shot and it generates straight onto your timeline, right next to your AI voiceovers, music, sound effects, and images. You can tweak any single shot without redoing the whole thing, add captions, and export without ever leaving the editor. There's also a Studio Agent that edits a project from a text description, and they rebuilt the playback engine so long, layered timelines don't lag.

For creators this is aimed right at you, social clips, product teasers, narrated explainers, all built end to end from generated assets. If you're tired of bouncing between five apps to finish one video, it's worth a look, especially since you're probably already in ElevenLabs for the voice side. One heads-up: the per-video generation cost isn't super clear, so check what your plan actually covers before you lean on it.

This Viral AI Comedian Is Stealing Real Comedians' Jokes

There's an AI "stand-up comedian" named Tiffany Sloan blowing up on Instagram right now, 375,000 followers, 75 videos, and one clip past 7 million views in under two weeks. She's not real, she's fully AI-generated, and here's the catch: the material is stolen from actual working comedians.

A comedian posted a side-by-side showing Sloan performing his exact joke, his gestures, even wearing his outfit colors, basically using his real set as a motion-capture template. And he's not the only one. Whoever runs the account has been lifting bits from dozens of comedians, spinning up variations with different AI characters, and monetizing off other people's work.

This is the uglier side of the AI content boom. The same tools that let you build a cool faceless channel also let anonymous accounts strip real creators at scale and get paid for it, and platforms clearly haven't figured out how to deal with it yet. If you're making original stuff, this is the competition now, which is exactly why a real voice and a real point of view is the one thing AI can't just copy-paste.
