🖌️ GPT Images 2.5 Stops Wrecking The Rest Of Your Image
OpenAI dropped ChatGPT Images 2.5, and it’s already live across ChatGPT on web, phone, and desktop. If you use ChatGPT, you can try it right now.
The biggest thing you’ll notice is that it’s much better at changing what you actually asked it to change. Ask it to swap the background and it’s less likely to mess with the face, the product, or the rest of the image. It’s also better at keeping a face or product consistent through multiple edits, so your sixth tweak still looks like the same person instead of their slightly different cousin. And it’s about twice as fast as before.
There’s also a new feature called Sketch. You scribble out a rough idea inside ChatGPT, add a line about the vibe you want, and it turns the whole thing into a finished image. There are also templates for things like posters and merch if you’d rather start with something than a completely blank canvas. If you’re making thumbnails or carousels, it’s worth playing around with and seeing how much cleanup you can skip.
Runway Bought The Team That Makes AI People Move Right
Runway just picked up the team from Kinetix, a Paris-based company focused on 3D human motion. Basically, they work on how people actually move through space.
This matters because one of the easiest ways to tell a video is AI is still the people in it. The weird walking, the lack of weight, the hands doing things hands definitely shouldn't do. Kinetix has spent years working specifically on human movement, and bringing that team into Runway could help make AI-generated people feel a lot more natural.
There’s nothing new to click on today since this is an acquisition, not a new feature. But it does give you a pretty good idea of where Runway is headed. If you use AI humans in your videos, I’d keep an eye on their next few releases because they seem pretty focused on fixing one of the biggest giveaways that a video is AI.
A Streamer Handed His Whole Channel To An AI Clone Of Himself
N3on, a big Kick streamer, posted that he’d done his "last stream as a human being" and called himself the "first AI streamer in the world." The idea is that an AI version of him can keep the stream running 24/7 while the real one is asleep, so the channel never goes dark. It’s built using Higgsfield and OpenAI’s new GPT-6 Astra.
Then things got a little messy. A Community Note pointed out that AI streamers have actually been around since 2022, and N3on somehow went from announcing he was an AI streamer to saying "it’s not AI" when people started making fun of him.
The technology itself is pretty interesting. Video models can now create a talking, reacting AI version of a specific real person and have it fill airtime on its own. Faceless channels that post while you sleep have been around for a while. Now we’re getting channels that can basically stream as you while you sleep. Genius or deeply cursed? You tell me.
